Speaking to Collider, Aghdashloo credits Expanse fans with sparking her interest in joining Wheel of Time, now in its third season on Prime Video. “As soon as I was done with The Expanse, the fans of The Expanse and those who liked my work on The Expanse, they started saying, ‘We need to find her another TV series because we want to see her at work,'” she recalled with delight.

Couldn't stand watching the show. The way the one power was represented drove me nuts. Reread the series a fifth time just to make sure I wasn't going crazy with the changes they were making. Lan's actor does not match the role. Rand feels like a moron. Sigh....

I'm already loving her in WoT. I never pictured Elaida as Shohreh but now I don't think I'll be able to read the books without hearing her smoky voice for every Elaida line.

I wrote that series off before S01 shat the bed over and over, but I'll fast-forward through whatever soulless cash-grab mess they've made of it all, just to enjoy her inimitable performances. ❤️‍🔥🥰

You have to think of it as a different turn of the wheel. If you think of them as the same story you'll be disappointed. Season 3 is turning out to be a treat though. Better than the first two seasons so far.

For real, though! I popped on ep1 soon after my first post here and ended up watching ep2 before crashing out, but I devoured eps3-5 the next night and now I'm sadly stuck waiting like a real pleb on a hook. 😅🤷🏽‍♂️🤓

As a book reader, I enjoy season 3 way more than the first 2. It's a shame how the beginning got botched, but... to be fair, the first couple of books of WoT weren't stellar either. If we've got through the Eye of the World, we can get through some COVID filming.
