This question has been asked before yet the sources provided are either not working or old (which also don't work). So I wanted to ask about how can we ad-block the spotify client on Linux.

I was using the web but looks like UBlock is struggling to block the ads as good as it used to be. So I was wondering if newer alternatives for the client itself would be a better solution or not.
