My head canon is that its actually a viola and the kitten is actually "illegally smol".
Once upon a time he was told bass is awesome. He misunderstood the context.
I never really thought about it but a cat probably could slapa da bass pretty well with them rapid no claw slaps.
I definitely needs this photo with less captions and more pixels. That would be sweet.
