8. Misinformation is prohibited.


Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body


For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

$27,306 is such an insultingly low fine for a mans death and these fucking bastards appealed it and didn't fix their safety issues. Fuck the owner of this company

They should be shutting these companies down and sending owners to prison for their negligence.

The meatpacking industry has some of the highest rates of workplace injuries compared to most industries. Not to mention the immense physiological toll it puts on top of it all with workers getting high rates of PTSD, depression, etc.

Fun fact, there are two entire human rights watch reports just about the meatpacking industry

My lawyer parents set up shop in a city that had a chicken processing plant and made millions off workers' compensation and social security insurance/disability cases.
