im setting up a server with a few friends, unfortunately some plugins are paid I'm not paying for plugins wtf

I heard about black spigot but there are two issues with it Some plugins may contain malware (makes sense, everything is user submitted, maybe i should learn how to read plugins?) Black Spigot has paywalled plugins (yeah, paywalling pirated plugins 💀)

so, is there a safe place to get plugins?
