Summary

MAGA henchman Elon Musk has joined Republican attacks on investigative program 60 Minutes, accusing the show of lying about layoffs at a U.S. aid agency.

He criticized a segment featuring a fired worker, claiming severance was offered, though only to those who resigned quickly.

Musk also alleged the program tried to sway the election. His comments follow Trump’s escalating legal battle with CBS, including a lawsuit seeking $20 billion in damages over alleged bias.

Removing any semblance of a free press one outlet at a time.

I find it sad that tromp really thinks it's ok to try to sue for damages when he deserves straight up death. He don't deserve anything favorable in any way. He doesn't even deserve to be allowed to breathe.

I've always hated the very first episode of black mirror, but he would be an awesome victim for it. I couldn't watch it, but knowing he suffered it would make me smile.

He would not agree to go along with it. Zero empathy for others.

[–] wheeldawg 4 points 5 days ago

What damage can he possibly think isn't deserved? Like bruh if you're breathing and not currently digging a sword out of your chest, you're above where you should be. Didn't complain of not getting extra special treatment.

Actually, we should start making a bunch of recurring holidays during the year on these fuckers' death days. Call it something like world brightening days.

It would get pretty out of control, though, to celebrate properly. 😂

I can see the attacks on the press are well underway. It's the key to a fascist takeover.

They've already got the digital forms under control: Facebook, Twitter, etc. They just need to silence the traditional press.

Wait, so now they're pretending to be concerned about journalistic integrity?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 5 days ago

They've always been concerned about journalistic integrity. They want very much to ensure its extinction.

I remember when the sisterfuckers in the magaqon cult were jabbering on and on about Hunter's hard drive, oops, laptop, needing to be disinformation that had to be free to spread around pre-fElon twitter because "freedom" and anything done to suppress such Russian efforts was tyranny, censorship and the very worst thing ever. I mean, this was truly tyranny on the march or something and they had to "suffer" under Biden. I mean, the suffering under Biden was the worst ever, if you guys can remember those dark days.

Now these people cheer on the likes of Big Balls tearing up our government with no oversight and fElon threatening news organizations. I mean, these guys were not elected. Neither was Hunter, but then again, Hunter was not doing anything to the country...in fElon's case, he is the head of a fake department just going around destroying American departments.

Anyway, the qons are now silent about this actual outrage because....?

In the (now seemingly unlikely) event that Trump and his ilk lose their grip on power, people need to move swiftly to curtail Musk’s power over the Oval Office; to the point that stripping him of his wealth and imprisoning him may honestly be the only way left to save the Union at this point.

Sure there are plenty other billionaires who may be eyeing up his current position, but they would surely think twice if the likelihood was they too would end up impoverished and incarcerated.
