A lot fewer than I used to be! Subscriptions == notifications, and I've been really focused on rooting out unnecessary notifications everywhere I can. At one point, the number was in the several hundreds before I realized just how ridiculous it was to believe I could keep up with that much video content.

same I don't keep up with all that video content either and I keep meaning to go through it but I keep forgetting lol
12 subscriptions. But I really only keep up with 3 if them. I watch every video they put out.
Technology connections https://youtube.com/@TechnologyConnections
Fortnine https://youtube.com/@FortNine
Primitive technology https://youtube.com/@primitivetechnology9550
noice keep it small and manageable unlike me lol
Oh, Primitive technology is a good one! One of my favorites. I SO want to buy a piece of land, strip down to my underwear, and dig a shelter out of the dirt. Maybe make a kiln out of clay.
Yeah same here I have way too many. I couldn't check on the mobile app but I scrolled through and it went on for like 30 seconds lol. The funny thing is that I only watch like 3 of them somewhat consistently
I probably watch like 10 consistently and then I occasionally rotate through my massive list haha.
Scrolling on the android TV app is so bad when you have a bunch of subscriptions, it literally takes minutes to get to the bottom because the app loads thumbnails for every channel you scroll past.
Basically once the list has to scroll it's often easier to just search for the channel defeating the whole purpose of subbing to them.
112 for me. I think a lot of them are dead and I go through and purge periodically. I really wish there was a way to organize your subscriptions in YouTube. I want a folder with the ones I actually watch and another with all the channels I subscribed to so I wouldn’t forget about them, or when I was briefly really into the history of barcodes (or whatever). I guess I could do two accounts, but I’d never keep up with it.
“Only” 58, all of them topics of hyperfocus forgotten after a couple of weeks.
79; it's only so low because I tend to unsubscribe from channels I'm getting bored with, almost as frequently as I subscribe to new ones.
Thanks for making me looking it up...
929
your welcome Haha. Good to know I'm not the only one. Do you find it that you forgot to unsubscribe from stuff that you or no longer interested in or your hobbies just keep growing. I feel like mine is a little bit of both but I always tell myself that I will go back haha
I rarely bother to unsubscribe unless the YouTube channel really gets me mad XD I don't mind stacking them up, the recommendations are good enough for my YouTube usage and channels that I really dig I have notifications for them ^^
mood I feel that
258, maybe I should find 2 dead channels to unsubscribe from to get that nice 2^^8^ number, lol.
I also have 620 videos in my Watch Later playlist at the moment, I keep stumbling across other videos that seem more immediately interesting than the ones in the playlist. >.>
It's the 193 unwatched in my watch later that stress me out :)
this is why I have given up on my watch later so if I don't watch it that week I probably ain't gonna watch it or remember to watch it lol
Oldest video in mine is 4 months, There will be some space somewhere to watch it eventually. probably 3 minutes before I realise I don't like it!
ain't that the truth haha
I basically treat my watch later list as a general slush for stuff before it lands in a playlist and as an actual watch later list.
It's messy and I'm proud to say it finally dipped below 1000 videos in it recently.
13, but I only watch like 3 regularly. Some of the others haven’t even posted in months or years.
what are the three that you do watch ? I'm always looking for new stuff to watch
32, but only because I ruthlessly culled recently. Also I have 3 accounts to keep it manageable. 2 for whatever I'm currently "on" and one for comedy, which has been a consistent interest.
Around 100 or so, mostly tiny ones with niche content, often less than 1 video/month/channel.
too many to bother filtering it. I use freetube to maintain subscriptions and that is apparently starting to creep to 400.
I recently was able to trim it down to about 400.
My watchlater though I recently trimmed down from about 4000 to about 1000.
Mine was almost 1000. Now I made a new google account only for YouTube and turned the watch history on without subscribing to any channels. Let's see how long I can hold it.
990 i only watch like 5 of them, or put it on autoplay
Around 40? But a lot of them are animators or video essayists that post once every like 6 months
How do I find this? I thought it would be as easy as clicking on the subscriptions tab, but I don’t see it.
I'm on a laptop, mobile is probably different.
On my homepage it says subscriptions, but it's links to videos.
Instead look at the top left of the page and click on the "hamburger" (3 stacked lines) to the left of the word YouTube.
Then look along the left hand side for subscriptions and it will list the channel names to which you're subscribed.
Manually count those and add in the "show 13 more" or whatever your additional number is.
