This guy watches the craziest porn

[–] [email protected] 33 points 4 days ago

Since when? Pornhub's homepage is full of similar videos.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 4 days ago

Remember when he tweeted out a pornhub video

Hotspot lending could “censor kids’

definition of censorship is not your access to alternatives to the "state propaganda curriculum". Access to alternatives is in fact the opposite of censorship.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 day ago

Right, and he thinks that this could interfere with access to alternatives.

If you don’t understand how, I’m happy to explain.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 4 days ago (4 children)

Why do these fuckers spend so much time and effort trying to make things worse? Like there's scapegoating immigrants because it'll rile up your voter base and get you re-elected and then there's shit like taking away lunch from kids. Like who does that even benefit?

I'm genuinely asking if they just get giddy with excitement at the thought of making things worse for other people.

I'm genuinely asking

Ooh that’s promising

if they just get giddy with excitement at the thought of making things worse for other people.

oh.

If you’re actually curious what his thinking is, I’m happy to take a stab at explaining. Let me know.

Polite society stopped allowing for said types to receive a hearty fist to the face, which seems to have historically been the prescribed course of action

Misery loves company, and these are very miserable, angry, hateful people. If they can't be happy, no one can.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

Because an angry and stupid population votes GOP.

Wouldn't blocking them completely restrict them from "exposure to conservative viewpoints."?

[–] [email protected] -1 points 1 day ago

My guess is he’s worried that if the school system starts distributing wifi hotspots which are to be used for educational purposes, then these will replace home wifi, and then someone will start putting explicit political bias into the definition of “for educational purposes” and you’ll have households that end up being blocked from certain political viewpoints as a result.

That's what tv is for

"The government shouldn't be complicit in harming students or impeding parents' ability to decide what their kids see by subsidizing unsupervised access to inappropriate content,"

Like Fox News or OAN.

When he gets to the point where he needs life support, I hope some child who needed that wi-fi hotspot and couldn't get it, because that loser got his way, is able to block his life support. Nothing of value would be lost.

Or Democrats could be flexible and approve internet access vouchers for households with school-age children, accomplishing the goal of allowing kids to do their online homework without undermining the parents’ role in setting overall internet access limits for their kids.

TIL there are hotspots in Cancun.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Or the sun, a more appropriate vacation place to send Cruz.

I swear there don't seem to be any decent thing this guy do. I'm amaze why his still elected.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It's simple really. People vote on culture war issues, and respect posture more than reason, we are a weak species that is easily manipulated, moreso when you gut education.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Also, y’all only follow news sources that paint republicans as pure evil. You see no problem with this, based on your belief that honestly portraying republicans’ positions is the equivalent of being a nazi.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

I follow updates on their policies. Its entirely culture war, using protecting children as an excuse to target and oppress minority groups that the vast majority of GOP voters have not and will never interact with in real life. And using that as camouflage they gut any institution they can to shrink the government in an effort to divert more of that money into their donors through government purchases.

And the Dem's just use the same tired ole "At least we don't target minorities" as their entire campaign, because they are incapable of following through with any of the possibly meaningful changes they campaign on because anything Dem voters truly want is not allowed in our pay to win system of government.

Hitching your wagon to either is how you become a sheep that is guided by the system of pitting us against each other, evaluate choices each election, you will learn real quick both parties sell the country to the highest bidder and do nothing to protect the people, both sides only enact token gestures of protection that do nothing to help our endless growing list of systemic problems, and are made purely to do the bare minimum to satisfy voters so they will stay divided into two camps that hate each other and continue to vote on wedge issues instead of demanding the change we need.

You even automatically assumed that because i spoke about the poor education of the voting public I was talking about GOP specifically, which immediately made you feel defensive. This is exactly how we stay divided, we continue to villainize the voters and leaders of the other side, which ensures whenever we learn from each other because we are playing defense, which is proven to make sure we cant learn from each other. All this to prevent us from joining together and demanding the government do literally anything at all to stop this system that pushes the general population closer and closer to poverty just to allow the richest people in the world to become even richer.

If ever a time comes where the people put aside wedge issues and focus on the betterment of the citizens the country will begin to rapidly improve, but sadly as i said in my first comment, we are a weak willed unresearched and uneducated population that is too easily tricked into playing a game about identity politics, while the real game being played is to keep us so focused on wedge issues that we dont notice them going through our pockets and stealing the copper out of our walls.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 hour ago

Can you link to one GOP member anywhere stating that their goal is

to target and oppress minority groups

?

Because I talk to lots of Republicans and I’ve never heard this motivation come up.
