Voting for the democratic party. No longer. Never again.

I saw as they threw trans people under the bus to get their defense bill signed. I will never forget the meddling they did to prevent the rail union from striking. Oh and the genocide of course. They won't be there for us, why should we be there for them?

Democrats: pass electoral reform in the blue states you control and get the fuck out of the way. Time for you blue conservatives to hold your noses and vote for a change.

You should feel fortunate the only consequence of your fucking around is fading into irrelevancy.

I knew America was going to do it and I was still so disappointed in them. Really wanted to be wrong.

It's like, come on. Did OP really have to ask?

And then there are people outside the USA not even knowing if it's the 11th of May or the 5th of November.

I'm a American living in the US and even I can only guess which date they meant. Everyone should just use the three letter month instead of the number when writing for other humans.

Presumably they are referring to the US election day, but I feel like that was hardly an unexpected facepalm result, considering how many political facepalm moments there were along the way leading up to it.

Although, 8601 is still ambiguous if you don't know ahead of time that it's the format being used.

I'd say that starting with a year is a good hint, and as it's written with dashes, it's easy to recognize. The main problem is with people that don't put any thoughts in and don't know the format.

when i saw the trump flag flying at my sister's house; i turned around and left instead of staying with them during xmas like we planned.

i think it stung me more than it did them since i hadn't seen them in five years and they think of me as the bleeding heart liberal flake so they don't care whether or not they see me besides my siblings.

i'm resolved not to visit them anymore and hope it goes well for them and I; but it's automatically not possible...
