Stickers placed without care have no meaning. A sticker is a badge of honor. A sticker must earn its right to be placed where it is placed.

And I usually place it on something I see often or have very long.
Sadly I like clean furniture and items. And if they are limited I'd need to have duplicates.

I have so many Bad Dragon stickers that I don’t want to waste… Got a phone with a clear back so I could put stickers in the back without removing their backing, so now I can rotate them out without using them up!

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Are you talking about... that Bad Dragon?

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You bet! They throw a sticker in whenever you order things!

[–] TheSlad 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yea ive one too, on my laptop... just waiting for someone to notice...

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Nobody has ever brought up my phone sticker! I was wearing a BD hoodie and a mask and a cool-looking scene girl tugged at her friend and pointed at me and they both laughed (my partner told me, I didn’t notice) so I think they knew hahaha

I have had some folks take pictures of/laugh at/comment on my license plates too! I can’t say what’s on em cuz I don’t wanna doxx myself D: Gotta say, furry cons have the highest ratio of custom plates to normal plates I’ve ever seen.

I hope to go to a furry con some day...

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I hope you can, too! I was lusting over a con happening kinda far away, then my partner looked for other cons and found one happening a few month later, 10 miles from us! We were able to get a room at the hotel and everything, it was insane. Wayyyy higher attendance than I expected. It was our first con. Got gakked on blow and partied with a shitton of suiters in a tiny room playing beer pong, thinking “there’s no way we don’t get COVID this weekend”

Hella COVID two days later. WORTH IT

Yea im gonna start looking for cons when I have a fursuit. I'm kinda extra so I want to try making my own

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

We do not have suits, just ears, tails, and kigurumi. It was perfect. I would recommend going even if you don’t have a suit. It was insane, everyone there just treated us like we’ve been their friends for years. It was so welcoming and fun and we met one favorite person of them all who followed us around or let us follow him around and was just a DELIGHT, because we didn’t know anyone there.

This is the way. I have a bunch of stickers on display on a shelf, i can move and replace them whenever I want. Permanently sticking it somewhere? That is a tattoo-level commitment, I ain't doing that.

I have found my people and feel validated 😂

My daughter puts them on her hands. HER HANDS!

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago

That's why you buy multiple of them.

I’ve had a weird sticker phobia since I was a kid. I fucking hate any sticker touching me. Even the threat of one being stuck on me makes me want to initiate fisticuffs. I used to have the same issue with tape but I’ve managed to get over that (as long as the tape leaves me within seconds). It’s weird af.

So yeah, any sticker I get has a 99% chance of either getting tossed or never being stuck to anything lol.

Thanks! I feel like this was more intense for me as a kid, but has mild slightly. I never thought to actually look it up. For me, I don’t know if I’d categorize it as a fear. I guess so but in a less… horror sense? I love how weird brains are.

[–] UnRelatedBurner 2 points 2 weeks ago

I'd 100% terrorize you with tape around my fingers. Idk how to describe it, if I touch you with it, it makes the sensation that I stuck something to you, but it's still on my finger. I love how mad ppl went searching their backs for a note (like "kick me" or something).. but there was never anything there.

hm.. am I a bully? (yes.) Whatever it was fun. After I tought them what I did (and how) and they mischievously thanked me.

I’m so insecure I always buy 2x any sticker I like in case I decide wrong. I have a drawer with backup stickers. I’m being completely serious.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

This is the reason I bought a stickerbook! I can place them all in there (so I know where they all are) and put them somewhere else later (once I find a place deserving them)

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

Three?! Well, look at Miss Decisive over here

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

The only stickers I buy are for my kegerator and my 2-gallon ukeg growler from the breweries I visit in my travels.. so those go on pretty much right away, unless I forget them.

Sure, if they aren’t just round I have to think about where to put them, to fill as many gaps as possible, but that’s about it.

What sort of places is everyone else throwing stickers?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

Why do I need a sticker if I'm not using it? That sucker is getting stuck on the first thing I think of.
