“She is ending this race in a very different place than other nominees that have lost,” one Harris adviser told the outlet. “Her approval is higher. People were very happy with the race that she ran.”

Jesus fucking Christ. They've huffed their own farts too hard and gave themselves some kind of brain damage. Or they're just greedy fucks that want to raise a billion dollars for exorbitant campaign expenses paid to their friends and acquaintances.

They also think that running a campaign that lost is somehow a win? Are these campaign managers fascist double agents trying to poison the only viable opposition? Seems like it.

They really are kinda stupid. They don't get how unpalpable she can be. They are clearly not learning from their mistakes.

JFC how is this the takeaway

some Democratic party aides believe Trump – who, among other things, overcame a criminal conviction and other such charges to win – has sufficiently overturned the norms of losing White House candidates’ not attempting a second bite at the proverbial apple to give Harris the opportunity of a repeat bid in 2028, this time for the full cycle.

"If Trump can do it, so can we" is the wrong lesson to learn. What a bunch of maroons.

Well, looks like I am finally leaving the Democrat party. I was only registered Democrat to vote in the primaries but they don't seem to mean shit anymore and the party seems incapable of learning a lesson.

I was expecting them to announce that they’re now “Blue Maga” and run the oldest, whitest old white man who isn’t Biden.

Resurrection isn't quite viable yet or they'd pull up Regan and run him as a "Democrat." They'd do anything to avoid actually helping people over bankers so I guess they're settling on "let Kamala lose again and we can blame "woke," and the general population for being misogynistic. What's 4 more years of deregulation? My bank account will be fine!"

Good ol' fashioned DNC scumbaggery

More like the AIPAC stuffed shirt they elected to the committee instead of AOC. They surely have a whole warehouse of those.

can we stop with the ancient politicians already. jesus fucking christ.

the democratic party is actively working to fuck the american population over. its like the want to fulfill the 'both sides are the same' argument

[–] [email protected] 10 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Don't worry. They won't get the chance to run her again.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 22 hours ago

Sure they will, we're gonna have a few sham elections before they go away entirely

[–] [email protected] 6 points 20 hours ago

RFK Jr will be installed as the nominee.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 16 hours ago

If true, I say go for it. This is assuming the party also runs a fair primary and she has to make her case alongside more progressive candidates.

[–] [email protected] -5 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

America is too racist and misogynist for her to win even though she was a great candidate.

[–] theonlytruescotsman 10 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

She wasn't a good candidate for anything but the gop. As a Republican, she's the perfect middle ground between Trump and Reagan.

She has no business running opposed to conservatives, though, and will never win in that role.
