It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

OK, I gotta ask, what is that wheel attached to?

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 months ago (3 children)

electric unicycle, Begode extreme 134 volt, 100km range~, 80kmh in stock

[–] [email protected] 19 points 2 months ago

I was fully expecting a motorcycle, not this awesomeness.

You ride an electric unicycle in bad road conditions? Sounds like a really bad idea to me

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 months ago

Yeah, but it is a skill issue, there are people who can ride slick tire in ice, I'm not one of them but I'm trying

Is it street legal where you live?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

I live in Russia, it's legal to ride these on city roads, but on highways it's forbidden. Laws are changing, I heard that in south Korea every bicycle scooter etc rider has to have driving license. For all of us it's a new theme, I hope your city mayors and politicians will understand you

How is micromobility over there? Do the cops hassle people on scooters, ebikes, boards, etc?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

Very rarely, sometimes when cops has a raid operation they can be stationed alongside main roads but in 99% percent of the time they just just ignore us

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Just don't get caught duh

Have you used them before?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

no, this is my first winter using cm 507, on a hard snow its fine but in between the seasons with rain and ice its terrible, that why i purchased studded version

[–] valek879 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

They look rad, I like that the studs are on the sides. The only time I worry about going down on my shermanl is turning on the slippies. Tons of wet leaves where I live right now, I take my turns way slow on them.

I used to ride a road bike all winter long, I only had issues on ice once. Locked up the rear wheel and the bike started to lean. Find the ground quickly after that.

Yeah, turning in bad conditions is very dangerous, my advice is to not lean as in summer, your wheel must be completely horizontal, you turn by managing your knee and torso in a such a way that your wheel is horizontal
