Haley also told Brennan she hasn't been asked to campaign for Trump and isn't advising him or his campaign, but she remains "on standby."

and there you have it. happy to be his dishrag - pulled out and put away as needed.

No spine. Unprincipled. Glad she's not the nominee.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure she'd be a better candidate than Donald Trump. Very low bar, but still.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 2 months ago

She would easily win against Kamala. Thank God the base is dumb enough to keep supporting Trump.

[–] gravitas_deficiency 2 points 2 months ago

And Trump is… better…?

She’s an absolute dipshit, but I’d swap her out for all the Trump idiocy in a heartbeat, simply because of the potential for harm and massive amounts of stochastic terrorism that Trump inherently poses.

They’re all like this. Ted Cruz’s wife gets called ugly and Ted sucks him off. Lindsey Graham says something innocuous about Trump, Trump tells a reporter he doesn’t give a shit what Lindsey thinks. Oh shucks, well, whatever. Most republicans are reported to have talked about how bad for the country he is behind closed doors, INCLUDING TRUMP’S CURRENT RUNNING MATE, but that person is also too unprincipled to do the right thing. Even in spite of the family members he says he worries about under a Trump presidency.

Republicans simply cannot rebuke Trump anymore, because the idiots who vote for him are single issue voters now, and the single issue is whether or not the candidate is endorsed by their golden spray tanned god. Those people are deplorable. Their hate is the one thing driving their political opinions.

Party Over Country every single time

[–] [email protected] 53 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That tells you more about Republican Party than about Trump

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

That they hate America? Yeah, I gathered that.

[–] [email protected] 44 points 2 months ago

Of all of the candidates, he is one.

[–] [email protected] 35 points 2 months ago

"Is it more important that democratic elections continue, or that your party win?"

"Well I do like being on the winning team..."

[–] [email protected] 33 points 2 months ago

backs his policies

Which can be summed up as "do whatever puts more money into the pockets of rich people, especially Trump himself".

[–] [email protected] 29 points 2 months ago

Translation: No, not at all but just in case he wins I don't to be on his hit list.

Trump is the most accurate representation of conservatives in U.S. politics. This has been proven time and time again for over a decade. He accurately represents them. He is them.

"I don't have to think. The party has already told me how to think."

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

He will unleash a bunch of unhinged right-wing radicals on my kids and try to ruin my life if i don't support him, so of course i support him.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The reason there is a "party system" at all is because of our voting system. It forces a two party system and if you don't listen to the parties you'll throw your vote away. If we switch to Ranked Choice Voting this wouldn't be a problem anymore and we'd be able to actually elect the most popular candidate.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

But then the corporations wouldn't be able to control legislation and that just won't work (for them).

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 months ago

Hey Nikki? Hey, maybe that's not a good thing. Maybe that's something you shouldn't be happy about, and something you should push back against if you actually care about your party or your country.

What's that? You only care about your own skin?

Translation: "How dare you ask me this"

[–] Grandwolf319 13 points 2 months ago

This gives me hope, if people truly hate the populous figure head, then it’s not sustainable long term.

Then again, people hated Stalin…

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 months ago

Completely feckless

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 months ago

Marshawn Lynch voice: "I'm just here so I won't get lynched."

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 months ago

Then why did you work for him and endorse him?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago

Air head. Susan Rice and Samantha Power both dance circles around her in terms of foreign policy prowess.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago

What a nimroda 🤦‍♂️

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

"Well... he's A candidate"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago
[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

[–] [email protected] -1 points 2 months ago
