"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Prices are coming down rapidly. A few years ago the Livewire One launched for $30k. This bike beats that one in several ways. Then consider how much you’ll save on servicing and fuel each year.

Livewire was Harley, right? I can see why they would want to anchor to the high price they get for their normal bikes.

Looks like more options and better battery tech are driving vehicle prices down either way, so glad to see it.

That seems to happen a lot with PEVs, I figure it's mostly just price gouging/profiting from the electric vehicle hype train.

Still astonishingly expensive.

Compared to a nice bike, they are still more expensive, but it's not ridiculous for what you get. A bike with loads of torque, ample power, fully adjustable front and rear suspension and very low running costs. I also find the belt drive rather nice. Hardly any maintenance, just check the tension a few times a year.

How do I transport my Laptop and stuff with this one?

And "On your back" is not an option for a 16k commuter...

You can get pretty large top boxes.
