It's a bit surprising that this text and cost as a sorcery hasn't been done until now. I'd have expected the usual 1B "kill almost anything" instant. Something like:
Destroy target non-Bat, non-Lizard, non-Rat, non-Squirrel creature.
Edit: though that might be kind of crazy in constructed given how obscure those creature types are.

Sorcery speed is a downside, but all in all you're probably right.
I'd rather kill Sheoldred on my turn than not at all.
Clear evidence of power creep. I know it doesn’t seem that strong when comparing to recent options like 1B kill (large but notably incomplete set of creatures). But if you compare it to older cards with this text it’s clearly a big power creep.
Is there a reason that this post is featured for this community and in local?
Not looking to cast shade, but I'm just not seeing how this card stands out above the other batch of cards spoiled yesterday.

I only caught this when sorting by new and saw both this and Maha were showing as the most recent spoilers.
I just pin some posts with more active discussion on them, usually just for a day or two
