Was Goku technically bulletproof, or was he just too fast to be hit by a bullet?
In his younger days, Goku was definitely shot at and they showed it was really painful but not deadly.
First episode, Buruma shot him. He said, "ouch."
Right and that was when he was just a kid, they just "boink" off him. As an adult I bet he doesn't even feel them whatsoever.
Who could forget Goku's iconic gun?
He uses it to teach Gohan to Dodge.

Is it just 6 BBs in a revolving chamber or is the revolver part just aesthetic? Most Airsoft guns I've seen hold dozens of BBs so 6 seems like not a lot.
Depends on the replica. I have a revolver that takes "shells" with a bb on the end of it. It's sadly too powerful to be used as a sidearm, and as you said 6bbs is not too many. So you can have one that works kinda like a revolver, but any dude with a gas glock will outgun you.
