There’s a documentary about Wham! that goes into how they composed the song and it’s pretty interesting. The outfits are hilarious, also. It’s on Netflix I think?

Oh shit, what? Sorry, what is it called? I can't find like the name of that documentary, but I can find a hundred references to it.
It’s literally called “Wham!” Maybe it’s region locked on Netflix?
Oh, awesome, I got it. Thanks. Exclamation point
pop culture joke
Wat?
Yeah, that's about where I was.
I don't get how it was a joke, maybe because it was such a bit hit that it became kind of a trope? Anyway, this song was #1 the day I was born. Never cared too much about it, but that sax is iconic.
Yeah interesting about the sax being his interpretation of an older song.
Someone else commented that George Michael wanted to cover the song specifically to fix the saxophone and then he did and now it's like the most famous saxophone piece in any song ever.
I just went through a little rabbit hole reading up on this and what an interesting bit of info! Thank you for sharing!
To anyone else interested:Wikipedia entry it's under 'production'.
I hadn't even read the whole story. I just did, what a great tale. Thanks!
You are the true superstar, watching this makes me so happy.
This is my first time experiencing his glory, I appreciate the introduction.
