It's just a sausage, just a big, wet, saliva-soaked piece of meat, nothing to see here

Is that not how y'all eat sausage?

There are certain things, like bananas, and sausages, that you can't really eat without... implications...

Unless you're civilized and used these mysterious things called utensiles then you just get labeled a snobby prick instead of slobbering on a prick.

Only a monster would eat a banana with a fork and knife.

Bring the sausage to your mouth, don't bring your mouth to the sausage

Marine-turned-Flyboy. The chow isn't that good, although (excluding Air National Guard DFACs) it's definitely a step up from what the Corps serves.

Oh the food isn't good in that image either, the Airman just thinks it's better and is really smug about it.

Sounds about right

Navy submariner. Can confirm sailors definitely do that on sausage days, or at breakfast with bananas. Usually on a dare, though, or as a joke. Otherwise the food is usually slightly below Air Force grade minus the butler, unless you count the seaman that's cranking as a food service assistant asking every table if they need anything.

Just need one of these for the Space Force (or the stuff that comes in toothpaste tube packaging / freeze dried ice cream).
