Big corporation, little planet.

If I understood the article correctly it seems the shutdown started initially from malicious software being uploaded to the servers?

I didn't read the article. Just made a crappy joke. If that's true then that sucks for the creators.

That's honestly a shame. There were some incredible levels people made.

if you don't steal it, it never existed.

It's sad that data migration and storage is more and more out of players' hands. There wasn't even a notice period for LBP...

How is it more out of players hands than before? If anything, it is more in players control nowadays because of custom LBP servers. Also, the games are ooold, kinda to be expected that the official servers are gone someday, especially when seeing the attacks that killed the ps3 servers some years ago

beacon is a custom server for lbp on the ps3 as well as vita. It works on rpcs3 as well https://www.lbpunion.com/beacon/

Thanks XP, but where the f is that? Oh behind the fourteen layers of admin password protected folders. Thanks. Thanks. Don't worry, I'll just keep digging tell I find them.

Yeah, I checked the custom file section in Halo Master Chief Collection, and whadda ya know, it had random rubbish I had made in early 2010s. A few years ago I was mad they didn't migrate Halo 4 stuff, but nope, it's there now.

At first I thought this was old news due to the PS3 LBP security issues but now I'm seeing it's affecting the PS4 as well. This sucks so much and it's even more a shame that Sony will use sackboy as a mascot and you can't even play the games sackboy came from to their fullest anymore.

the creations are really small if I remember correctly, they are like kilobytes or things put together in a container. (there are maximum objects limits for the creation as well. ) I don't know the max amount of favorite you can keep though, haven't played the ps3 ones for quite a while.
