Australia, USA, Canada, and UK whose people were killed directly sells arms to Israel. The chances that the same weapons they supplied were used to kill them are high. So the fake outrage is pure theater.

33000 Palestinians are dead, 13000 fucking children are dead, and that's fine. Nothing to see, nothing to investigate, keep sending weapons.

[-] [email protected] 42 points 3 months ago

Correction: 33000 Palestinians are confirmed dead. Israel has systematically destroyed the Gazan healthcare system so the Gazan Health Ministry can't count dead people (the GHM only reports people its doctors officially confirmed dead). I wouldn't be surprised if the real number of dead was double the official number.

[-] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago

At this point I'm wondering why we don't switch the numbers and tell us how many people we have left because that's kind of where we're at right now I think

Right. How can one not be outraged by the entire war? How can you be a decent human being and only be outraged when people more similar to you die and not other INNOCENT people. These people supporting any war are enemies of the people. They are not leaders.

Biden is so outraged that just in the last 4 days or so he's promised the sale/transfer of tens billions of dollars worth of F-35s, F-15s, and huge bombs for Israel. His talk of grief and anger is cheap political theater to save his presidential campaign and anyone who actually believes him is wilfully blinding themselves. His words only changed when people started voting uncommitted, and his actions never did. What he actually does, which is the only thing that counts, is force US money to enable nation-level war crimes whether or not the citizens want it.

He is a neocon giving the most facetious of lip service to the left wing HALF of America.

Liberals officially have no party.

Small wonder since we have let this 2 party farce go on for so long.

[-] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago

In the historical sense of liberalism, liberals have a party. Left-wingers don't.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

I'll take your word for it.

All I know is that in the Bill Clinton era, the middle class thrived and America bombed Serbia instead of giving them armament to genocide Croatia.

His hag of a wife made sure to kill all that though.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

I think you meant power hungry cunt. Hag is too nice a word.

She was a bad opponent against Trump after decades of attacks from the right, she was not viable for most of the country ignoring the fact that misogynist men won't ever vote for a woman in any office.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

I don't know how relevant "misogynistic men" is.

If liberals got a primary, AOC would be DESTROYING both Trump and Biden.

I firmly believe it.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Amazing to be throwing around the word misogynist while unironically using misogynist insults

[-] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

And what did they do in Yugoslavia?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Serbia was Yugoslavia. They tried to genocide the Croatians. They got bombed to hell.

Like Istanbul was Constantinople.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Idk when the first one ships but the order is set to be completed after 5 years from now. Biden's still a fucking loser over how he handled Isreal, I hope he keels over because of it, but we do still have to acknowledge the nuance that the F15s won't affect the current situation in Gaza.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

Irrelevant. Someone who is outraged shouldn't be offering to help in the future, either.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Well, I mean, it was purely semantics but idk if it is completely irrelevant.

[-] [email protected] 36 points 3 months ago

Biden is ok with the alshifa hospital boming that killed 400 lives just 2 days ago, but here we have 4 killed with international passports from countries he has to pretend he gives a damn about.
We have to wait until it's a European or American who is killed to be "outraged"?

[-] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

Wait. You just now figured it out?

[-] [email protected] 27 points 3 months ago

"Hey, stop being evil! ...also here's like an entire military's worth of bombs n' shit so you can keep being evil."

[-] [email protected] 27 points 3 months ago

His "outrage" is meaningless. He's actively aiding and abetting.

US credibility is taking a hit on the global stage.

As for Biden, I can really see why this issue is hurting his campaign in the US. As well as supporting genocide it just makes him sound super insincere and duplicitous.

[-] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago

Didn't he just give them another 18 billion?

They dont give a shit how Biden feels or what he thinks is.

Because his entire political career he's been running around telling anyone that will listen that absolutely nothing would ever make him support Israel any less.

It's an abusive relationship, and we're all like the kids stuck in the house with no say on our living situation

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

No, we took their 18 Billion in exchange for F15s five years from now.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Oh that's right...

Giving a genocidal government the bombs and planes violates the Lehay law...

So we give them billions of dollars first.

Then "sell" them military equipment, funneling billions of our tax dollars to private defense companies.

Meanwhile a bunch of shitty people make a bunch of money, and brown people die in the worst abuse of human rights since WW2.

[-] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

I'm not sure how much has been given to Israel in total the last few years but I think it was about 3.8Bn in 2020 and a package of 14.1Bn in February divided as follows:

About $14.1 billion in the bill would go to support Israel and U.S. military operations in the region. About $4 billion would go to boost Israel’s air defenses, with another $1.2 billion for Iron Beam, a laser weapons system designed to intercept and destroy missiles. There’s also about $2.5 billion to support U.S. military operations in the region.

Listen, Israel is trying to commit genocide and Biden is an incompetent old piece of shit because of how he has handled this, but that's no reason to claim we directly gave them 18Bn in money when we didn't, it just makes us look stupid. Factual correctness is important if we want to stand a chance in debates.

selling 18bn dollars worth of fighter jets to israel im outraged, honestly. how dare they

[-] [email protected] 21 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Then he signed a purchase order for ten thousand more orphan seeker clusterbombs.

[-] [email protected] 19 points 3 months ago

So outraged that he's sending more bombers and munitions! Seriously, fuck this country.

How can I help our comrades in Gaza fight this?

[-] [email protected] 16 points 3 months ago

Biden outraged at deaths he helped facilitate.

Who could have predicted this! Certainly not those troublesome leftists

[-] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago

"not doing enough to protect aid workers and civilians."

Killing. Killing aid workers and civilians. Good Christ is libspeak fucking nauseating

[-] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago

I just read: "Biden administration set to greenlight $18 billion sale of F-15 fighter jets to Israel"

Oh sure... he's "outraged".

[-] [email protected] -2 points 3 months ago

Those are older air superiority fighters to be delivered in a couple years. That's the least bad thing we've sold them.

[-] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago

So is he going to do anything material about it? Or is he giving that statement to the press and then immediately calling up Bibi to reassure him it's just for show? I have a feeling I know the answer.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Shh Bibi is ok

[-] [email protected] 13 points 3 months ago

"For fucks sake, I told you not to kill any civilians with those bombs!

...

Want some more bombs?"

[-] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago

Imagine manufacturing modernized muntions and warfare technology only to sell it to the friendly neighborhood genocidal maniac who goes on to use the vast technological advantage to kill unarmed civilians, journalists, aid workers, and UN related staff.

And then pretending you actually care about blatant genocide.

[-] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago

I don't get it - they keep using the weapons we've been shoveling over there to kill the wrong people! I've tried scolding them but they just won't stop slaughtering the innocent! I have no idea but to get them to stop. I have no choice but to give them more weapons and hope they do better.

[-] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago

Outraged enough to do something against it? Or at least enough to stop supporting it?

[-] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Then STOP GIVING THEM MONEY AND WEAPONS

Immediately

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

I'm glad he's outraged.

Hopefully he's out of weapons to send them, too.

[-] paskalivichi 3 points 3 months ago
[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Hes not

What?!

"Outrage" is almost worthless then. ☹️
