Biggest takeaway from this quote from Garber

We financially have no involvement in it. We don’t control the brand. We don’t control the state of the facilities.

It confirms my suspicion that MLS wants to be the only name in US soccer and is really pushing for their monopoly. The other takeaway is MLS gaslighting us now in saying this is for the greater good.

I can't wait for MLS to get busted up in an antitrust lawsuit. Fuck single entity.

In case you are in need of some USA soccer that isn't MLS, check out USL. They even have a women's league! They signed some TV deals this offseason, so it should be more accessible to watch.
