Seems to be just a hit piece. I only care if it does cool things and it's open source. None of the investor squabbling matter to me.
Where is it being taught in school? I think Trump and DeSantis banning it being taught in school is just a publicity stunt claiming the woke left is rewriting history.
Of course the US doesn't like it. Their country is getting all the benefit of US corporations basically running the internet without contributing to the societies they are leaching money from.
I would say people are more likely to drive to a restaurant or bar than a park so drinking alcohol in parks may lower drinking and driving. Public intoxication is still illegal.
I really find anybody using even a gas lawnmower pretty obnoxious. If you are cutting an acre of land it is fine. If you are an old person I get the not changing.
I assumed cell phones would be banned in classrooms. When I was in school any sight of a walkman would get it taken away!

Micro blogging like Mastodon I like more for following the personalities. I don't have a big attention seeking personality so I do not get a lot of followers on that type of social media. I am more of a reply guy so Lemmy style content aggregator with comments I am able to participate more in.
