The lighter side of ADHD
Every time my wife Complains about her phone battery, I ask her if she even looked up from it during the last episode of whatever it is she's watching at the time.
Usually the answer is no but she sure does like to pretend she knows exactly what's going on. Then complains that the story doesn't make sense.
Holy fuck, why do they do this?
I'll put on a movie and start watching, and they'll just get the laptop out and start duolingo-ing for the first 40 minutes, then when the action starts it's just never ending questions about the story and what's going on and I have to constantly pause and rewind to explain stuff

I stop the movie the moment they pull out a device or get up or anything. This is supposed to be a shared experience we're doing together. If we're not doing it together I've got a list of other shit I'd rather focus on.
My wife does the same thing. She likes watching things with me, but her watch-vs-phone ratio is about 1/5.
My wife does the same thing, but annoyingly understands what's happening in the show better than I do.
I shut up about this after I found the screen time page. I am equal parts happy and mad that it only shows the last 21 days of usage.
