Hi

I’m currently a first year apprentice I work in residential properties chaining accessories, board changes, re wires etc

I’m looking at getting my first impact to stop the delay and nuisance of swapping between myself and who I’m shadowing. It will mainly be used for screwing up smokes, lights taking up floor boards etc

I don’t have any power tools yet and I was wondering between 18v or 12v.

At the end of my apprenticeship at least I will buy a set of all the power tools I’ll need so will have a copy of the 18v if I go for that one, just wondering if anyone has similar daily work habits that can advice on if 12v will be enough for what I need or to just go for the 18v? (Thinking of Milwaukee fuel line btw)

Thanks
