I do love Omada EAPs, they offer more than their price but there are two things I didn't like:
- Their Omada Software cannot offer things what UniFi network offers ( Unifi is more clear and insightful and easy)
- I always had lots of connect/disconnect problem with my devices at home, from 2.4gh IOT devices to my Apple Devices and etc
Since I switched, the devices are working fine.
Unfortunately I don't have enough space for UDM-Pro, I hope they release something powerful but small for people like me. UDR is cool, but limited to 700Mb, my internet is fiber optic symetric gigabit. If they do release something for my needs, I also ditch my supreme Mikrotik RB5009RB.
There is nothing wrong with Mikrotik, I just want newer toys + simplicity and single place of manage/monitoring all network.
