My UDM pro took an electrical hit during a thunderstorm - won't even boot into recovery mode so I'm RMA'ing it. In the mean time I have a bunch of APs and cameras/UNVR-pro, switches, etc that are working fine and I need to restore internet to the campus.

Question: To get the access points back up and running while waiting for an RMA ,can I host my own unifi controller on a local server I have an just plug the 24 port switch into my local ISPs router?

I am looking for an alternative solution to quickly get internet access restored via the Access points that are in place. Thanks for any feedback,
