My mom paid for my college abroad. She was upper middle class but since my father left his work they're now considered middle class in the country they live in. She's currently living with my dad and they both have very decent retirement salaries. They own more than one property and have a decent life.
Since I started working, my mom asked me for money multiple times. She would say that she had to take a credit from the bank to pay for my studies (which is true and it was paid off) so I needed to be grateful and give her money when she asks for it. Mind you, I'm not rich but I still sent her money multiple times. I paid for her ticket once to come visit me and gave her around 5k since I started working. I know this is nothing compared to what she paid for me but I have my own expenses to pay and life is so expensive right now.
If I ever tell her I can't this time, she acts out and implies I'm ungrateful and stops talking to me. I would do the impossible if she were poor but she has her own money and even travels every year. I don't have a dime to my name and I want to start putting money aside for the future. Today she asked me to send her a monthly amount and when I said she should wait until I pay my credit card, she responded "I'm not gonna wait an eternity! Don't send me anything! ". I'm tired of this and I don't know how to behave while still taking care of myself/mental health and not upsetting her.
Tldr; mom keeps asking me for money and implies I'm ungrateful
