Former President Trump went after Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) for vetoing a proposed ban on gender-affirming health care for transgender minors on Saturday.

“DeWine has fallen to the Radical Left,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “No wonder he gets loudly booed in Ohio every time I introduce him at Rallies, but I won’t be introducing him any more. I’m finished with this ‘stiff.’ What was he thinking. The bill would have stopped child mutilation, and prevented men from playing in women’s sports. Legislature will hopefully overturn. Do it FAST!!!”

The bill, House Bill 68, also had the aim of preventing transgender women and girls from competing as part of female school sports teams.

The Ohio governor on Friday said he had spent the last two weeks since the bill was delivered to him on a “fact-finding mission,” saying he traveled to the Buckeye State and talked to medical professionals and the families of transgender children. He also said he talked to those who are against treatments like puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy.

Translating Trump: "DeWine is not being cruel enough."

You're welcome.

Don't make "hit" the new "slammed".

The headline makes it sound like a fistfight, turns out it was just one post on the TwitterButDumber site

TwitterButDumber

So is that twitter, or some other site?

The site Trump tried to promote after being banned from Twitter, Truth Social. It's just a right wing echo chamber similar to Twitter.

Next up will be “exploded,” but I’m personally awaiting “fellated.”

Dewine is at his term limit regardless jackass. He’s got 3 more years and we don’t have a gubernatorial recall process here.

Also Dewine has a long history of being anti-lgbt but willing to listen to reason. This is a topic that him vetoing actually speaks massive volumes about how good he is as a politician. I don’t like him and have opposed him for years, but when faced with teenagers saying that this medical treatment gives them the will to live he actually took that to heart and damn do I not wish that was the bar here, but it seems to be.

Criticized is the word you're looking for the hill. Stop it with these trump hit that or dewine slammed that nonsense headlines. "Trump criticizes Ohio governor's veto of proposed gender affirming care ban." There, feel free to pay me to write your headlines.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Mike DeWine (R) for vetoing a proposed ban on gender-affirming health care for transgender minors on Saturday.

“DeWine has fallen to the Radical Left,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

The bill would have stopped child mutilation, and prevented men from playing in women’s sports.

“These are truly complex issues, and reasonable people draw vastly different conclusions,” DeWine said during a press conference on Friday.

The original article contains 293 words, the summary contains 126 words. Saved 57%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

Shameless, divisive, grifting hypocrites.

They bitch about bills that are too broad or have multiple items then bitch when someone uses that excuse appropriately.

and prevented men from playing in women’s sports.

Isn't it an offence in the law?
