Hi everyone! I have a problem: I can code no stop for hours. Someday, I go for basically 6-7 hours a day without taking a break. I notice I exaggerated only when I’m basically drained after work, to the point I can’t do anything.

How many breaks do you take? 10/20 minutes per hour? Do you take longer?

All of them

Depends on the day, but excluding lunch, usually 2-4 short breaks. My tip is to have a relatively small water bottle, and take a short break to refill it every 1-2ish hours. Keeps you hydrated and on a decent break schedule.

I take a break after finishing a task. What about big tasks? Got no answer to that.

They ~~agent~~ aren't called line breaks for nothing.

That's one of the strangest autocorrects I've seen.

Indeed a weird one.

I try to take lunch at the same time consistently. Sometimes it runs longer or shorter depending on how the day is going. For breaks in between, I don't have a set schedule. I usually take them when I get to the point where the "wheels are spinning" but I'm not getting anywhere. Usually because of some problem that I'm wracking my brain on and I need a fresh perspective. A lot of the toughest ones get solved when I'm not staring at a screen.
