Imagine showing someone our game vs Brentford and then showing this Gal v ManU game. It’s like a different sport. CL so much more entertaining
This United game is chaos! End to end madness. 🥴
The United game is absolute jokes. Both teams are completely dire, but it's highly entertaining as a result.
Fucking hell Sevilla lol. If they had drew with PSV then a simple draw would've been enough to guarantee top spot for us. Guess we have to go win it now.
Pouring one out for Ramsdale. Farewell sweet prince.
BBC saying psv scored a 3rd and now winning 3-2
I'll be honest, I used to think Onana was legit, but since he's signed for United, he's been woeful. He looks completely out of his depth at this level.
Guys last year was jokes - we are actually winning the league this year
We're beating teams that are putting 30 people behind the ball, and we do it consistently. When teams actually try to play football against we we smack them 4-0 lol
I love this club
How is it that I just realized that Edu looks like Dot Cottan because of those old pictures of the Invincibles that Stu MacFarlane has been posting? 🙃
If Lens play the way they did in the first fixture they can beat us again. It was like they were pressing us while we were in their half, just coming after our players. I just hope we win, bcs it won't be easy.
Spurs spoke to ten hag and thought they don’t want anymore bottles
The last player I wanted us to sign and ended up getting him is Leo. Camavinga next 🙏
I love how we are constantly the butt of all reports like this one with Kyliab Mbappe.
“Arsenal and Liverpool are looking at signing him as a free agent….Mbappe has always admired Jurgen Klopp”
Like wtf do you mean lol.
It's always Shearer who's showing himself to be a cunt. Never Wrighty or Lineker.
We still have to go To City Liverpool United and Spurs away in the league. If we win it we're doing it the hard way.
So so happy that stoke castle got f by the ref.
They were chatting too much shit after their 'goal' against us.
up your fucking hoop ‘newcastle’
First CL game tonight, get a fry in, dander round camden, pint for the first half of the united match then at the carpet.
The angel blaring in the earphones on repeat ofc
Going to be controversial here and say i was pretty dissapointed in how the sub reacted to the Newcastle game last night (an entire post about it really?) after weeks of going on and on about how the standard of officiating is the real problem and other clubs need to get behind us we just revert to tribalistic gotchas as soon as it happens to someone else.
Just goes to show how many people only stood behind the club and their statement because we were on the receiving end.
It's all fun and games till you're on the receiving end of it, and hilariously it didn't take long, fuck them. Yeah nothing will change till clubs are united over it but that's not going to be changed by people on reddit. They're all applauding how "dignified" Howe was in not complaining, as if that's the way to stop it happening again.
You can't be "robbed" when you concede 4xg - maybe try to win a game via something other than dirty play and fist pumping whenever you kick the ball out for an opposition throw. I've got zero sympathy for their luck running out, can't get by on home ground advantage and referee assistance forever
the thing is it was a penalty, we all know the rules for handball in europe are nonsense. it wasn’t a misapplication of the rules like our grievances, so they don’t need any backing up because there’s nothing to complain about ref wise. their issue is with the rule itself not the people enforcing it
The tears coming out of Al-Anshearer are so sweet
The way you oil-fied alan shearer has me me sweating tears lmao
Who do you want to play in the RO16 of the UCL?
Pass on Lazio because it will be a safety nightmare for our away fans, not sure about Napoli too for the same issues, maybe Leipzig or Copenhagen if they end up second.
Any team that is in Western Europe and is not Italian
The only big team you can play is PSG or Napoli
So higher odds on these teams
Real sociedad / inter Porto/ Shaktar Redbull Galatasary Lazio
Please lads let's win a game by the 60th minute for once. I want some meme subs tonight and some fresh legs for the weekend. That Wolves game has trap written all over it.
I'm supposed to be angry today at work, but I can't stop this spontaneous chortling.
Question, in the draw for the next round of UCL games, can we draw a team from the group we were in, ie, can we draw Lens/PSV, (whoever finishes 2nd in the group) or can we only draw teams from other groups?
Galatasaray PLEASE
Gamedaaaaayyyyy!
Besides qualification, are we also guaranteed first place in the group with a win tonight?
I love the smell of schadenfreude in the morning
The Oil Classico was underwhelming yesterday. PSG easily could have scored 3-5 goals but the finishing was woeful. Really wanted to see Al-Nakhasil United getting pumped.
I fucking hate that some teams take Arabian oil money, luckily at the Emirates we don't stoop so low.
The Newcastle schadenfreude I’m enjoying today is just 🤌🤌🤌get wrecked oil barons
4 years to the day since emery was sacked, what a great moment that was there shall be no revisionism about his time here on this day
Sandcastle fans tripping over themselves because they desperately want to bitch and moan about that result but can't because they'd look like massive hypocrites
Its so delicious I don't think I can handle another bite
Nothing less than a 5-0 win and a Lewis-Skelly debut tonight
throw in leo messo at 89'
Why am I seeing the media praising Newcastle's performance last night and they didn't deserve to lose????
PSG had 31 shots, 7 on target. Accumulated almost 5xG and created NINE big chances with 73% possession.
Newcastle had 5 shots the entire game. Okay, the penalty PSG got was bullshit but they should've had two penalties before the one in injury time was given.
Newcastle didn't "deserve" a single thing, just like in Milan they were lucky to not be on the end of a hiding.
The only player who wasn't embarrassing last night for them, was Nick Pope.
Newcastle are the darlings of the media atm.
What a great job Eddie howe has done and hardly spent any money!
Erm what!? His spent over £300m since they took over.
I heard that you need to reach at least 2xg in a game to be able to complain about officiating. Otherwise it's that you didn't create enough to win the game and can't have any complaints, oh that's just us...? Ok
Is this midfield enough to survive this winter? (9 games in 30 days )
DM - Rice / Jorginho
Mid - Trossard/ Havertz / Ode
*Assuming Partey, ESR and Veiria doe play till 2024
