I'm really, really sorry to hear that about your child and I hope they get justice. My daughter wasn't treated that badly, but she was severely bullied which eventually led to a couple of girls prank calling her and doxing her on Discord. What did the school do? Put her in a group "therapy" session with the school counselor and made them all apologize to her- my daughter because she dared to get pissed off about the whole thing. That wasn't the final straw, but we've taken her out and put her in online school. It means I had to leave my job to become what the school calls a 'learning coach' (it's a state school, not a private school, but they require a parent to keep the kid on track) but it was our last resort. She was starting to have feelings of self-harm. The bullying never let up and the school didn't give a shit.

I wonder, thinking back, if I would have had any recourse to sue the school for them making my daughter apologize to her bullies. Oh well, too late now.

I appreciate it, sorry to hear you’re struggling with that nonsense as well.

I'm not anymore, thankfully. But we had to go down to one income to get her out of that hell.
