Why did they boo Krause? Because he blew up the 6 championship roster? I would assume decisions that big are coming from ownership, not the GM.

He was not portrayed very well in THE LAST DANCE, and it was heavily narrated by MJ. He was to blame for breaking up the team, but it wasn't that simple given the contracts and aging team.

Kinda what's going on with the Warriors right now.

It’s a lot more than the 1998 season. As early as the 1980’s, he’d downplay the players’ contributions to the success of the team. His famous quote was “players don’t win championships, organizations do.”

He constantly had a chip on his shoulder because of Jordan’s success, and (in a sense) forced the fan base to choose between him and Jordan (he really thought that fans would side against the greatest player of all time). This culminated in his role in breaking up the dynasty and the decade of misery that followed.
