I am a student woth a 120 gb laptop which needs to run specific bio science software which fits my specific internship ATM. So except for privacy reasons (and wanting to become more familiar with linux) I dont have the option except if I spare some money to buy a bigger drive for dual boot.

I get what you mean but it isnts always easy.

Yup, needing something specific definitely throws a wrench into the plans. Maybe look at it once you're done with your internship.
