This, when I got out of the you need to chase phase I started having much more success on the dating aspect of social life.

Shooting your shot early is functionally the definition of creepy.
EDIT: As of when I'm typing this, 18 creepy neckbeards were very upset I said the truth out loud like that.
You have to follow actual social clues and not try to just fuck every women that talks to you for 10 minutes. If you do that, "early" just means "at the right time."
That's what the original 4chan poster was doing. It's good advice.
After going out for coffee and texting regularly for a month, I think the right time could've probably come sooner.

Communicating your intentions in a decent way is not creepy
Not sure what you mean by "in a decent way", but too early is how you get called a creep.
As always it matters how you convey your message. if you're too blunt you're obv gonna be called out for it. Learn to be smooth and noone will call you out besides assholes.
If you're ugly or beautiful af (by social standards) it doesn't affect the outcome as much tho, because beauty privilege.
