House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., on Tuesday said he is directing three House committees to open an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden in an effort to seek bank records and other documents from the president and his son Hunter Biden.

So the right wing media will make a big deal out of any findings, which will probably have some corruption uncovered but of the vanilla, boilerplate variety everyone does in DC, the conservative base will get frothy over it, the libs will Nothingburger it, everyone else will see it as more “both parties are corrupt” background noise, impeached in the house, senate acquits.

If this happens he should be impeached and convicted. I am SO fucking over poo-pooing fucking federal corruption scandals. I don’t care if they’re all doing it. Even more reason. Kushner should’ve been put on trial.
