Bigotry swings both ways. Pun intended.

Except only one way it "swings" has any power behind it and actually causes real life oppression, so no, it doesn't swing both ways, and being the butt of a generalisation doesn't make you equal or even comparable to people who are actually marginalised.
So sick of this "reverse bigotry" bullshit, it's nothing but privileged people desperately craving some victimhood. It's gross.

In the past I agreed with you. Now that I've worked with professional diversity and inclusion experts I can't anymore.

It is true that the larger group has more power so their stereotypes will cause more harm.

At the same time it's true that the act itself is wrong.

We all need to be the change we want to see in the world. Everyone needs to let go of harmful stereotypes for society to move past them.

I don't often call things based, but this comment is truly based

You don't need to read nothing more: just mix up the two comments above and that's it.

You have just as much right to generalize as anyone else. But that doesnt mean youre not an asshole for doing it. Gay or not.

You just don't know what it's like to be a straight white cis male in this world.
