Tldr - article’s author feels they should have privatized it and cut wages for postal workers a decade ago. Says that turning it from a public service into a crown corp saved it in the 70s-80s but now it has to be fully privatized to work. I disagree personally but Canada Post is definitely in trouble and it seems their union is unfortunately not doing right by the corp or the members.

Worth mentioning that the author is Erin O'toole, former leader of the conservatives. They love selling things off and privatizing them.

I was listening to the audio version and as soon as the voice said “stories like this should be behind a pay wall.” I stopped listening.

The author is Erin O'Toole the Conservative party leader before Pierre Pollievre.

Also another example of Conservative ideology making life harder for their die hard supporters(rural folk)
