I'm surprised we made it 100 days without Trump firing any of his own hires.
In his first term it seemed like we couldn't go a week without somebody being fired and him making a statement about not knowing them personally or having never met them.
I'd expect more to follow shortly though, it's an addiction for him and now that he got that taste of dopamine he gets from a power trip, he'll probably be doing more of it.

Last time, Trump just appointed people that were recommended to him and who could get by the Senate. Trump kept having to get rid of them whenever they refused to break the law or violate their code of ethics.

This time he's appointed nothing but people that were already lined up for the positions by Project 2025 based solely on loyalty. Since the Republicans control the senate, they all flew through with flying colors. This batch are happy to break the law for him and they have no ethics.

The only reason this guy is out is that he's an astonoshingly incompetent DUI hire.

Hegseth hasn't been sober since he was 3 and he's still...uh...let's call it "working".

Yep, first time he wasn't expecting to win at all so he wasn't ready, you can see it in the video of him when it's announced, he's not happy.
