I think people like to attribute a lot of "stupid" things trump believes to stupidity.

This is not a case of "do not attribute that which can be explained by stupidity to malice". This doesn't apply to fascist. Stop thinking they are stupid. Stupidity or truth are not ideas in their world. They make their own truth and there is no reason to waste time with figuring out what they believe.

There is no reason to care about what a liar thinks. This is a fascist tactic. They will say the Photoshop was real one day and then call you stupid for not realizing it was a joke the next.
