My old phone did this, I replaced it straight away but forgot to dispose of it. It's been sitting on my kitchen bench for... wow, 15 months now.
That's terrifying, but I also relate. My worst ones are the little projects that are just a teeny bit too much effort for the week so I do the whole 'eh, this weekend' thing. Then realize it's been over a year and the projects list keeps growing lol.
