Additionally, as part of the nomination process, Isaacman has written a letter to explain how he will disentangle his conflicts of interest, including resigning from the company he founded, Shift4 Payments, and stating that agreements between himself and SpaceX for the Polaris missions will be terminated.

Does this mean that the entire Polaris program would be cancelled, or just that he would not fly on the missions?

I really hope that the Polaris missions aren’t canceled, but since the whole point of this is to sever any ties between Jared and SpaceX, it’s logical to assume that he’s not gonna pay for these missions. Unless some other cool rich person steps up, I think the missions are canceled 😞😓😫

Yeah, I guess this makes sense. Although, Polaris II was originally proposed to be a potential Hubble servicing mission, which NASA declined. Perhaps Isaacman might be in a position to reopen those discussions?
