I loved irc 20 years ago....i have no clue how to get back into it. How do you even find a cool server in 2024??

They haven't changed that much. Freenode died and was replaced by libera.chat, but that's about it. The other big ones are still around.

Is Dalnet even still around? I stopped using IRC way back in the day because they said they were shutting it down and it was really the only server I used.
