Hi All,

I am looking at buying a PC for gaming/work but thought that perhaps instead of buying it outright I could build it myself.

It's not about costs, it's about simply learning and enjoying the process and outcome.

I have a PC in mind and it lists all th specs already, so I was thinking I could just buy all those specs individually, knowing that they are compatible, and try putting it together myself.

How easy and quick is it to do? Could I do it in a day? My background is a normal, average person (not in IT but not a dumb ass, hehe).

You could do it in less than 6 hours. Most items have dedicated connectors that only go in 1 spot on the motherboard or will be labeled. Cable routing is what took me the most time as I wanted it to look pretty
