A little on a tangent here but...
I'm guessing News and WorldNews will, again and like in Reddit, be actually USANews. Let's see what the fediverse and instances do bring to that issue.
That would probably depend on which instance you're using.
Unless I'm misunderstanding how this all works.
That's my understanding. The only challenge is searching for news communities but not knowing where the instance is geographically.
I'm sure it will sort itself out over time.
The fact is that the whole world is addicted to US news and everyone wants to know what happens to Trump. Like it or not, the US is still the country that everyone else looks to, even if it's just to shit on it.
I think at the moment it really depends on what posts people will submit to this community. There are still so few posts, that they will not get buried, like on Reddit.
