You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some compromised Justice threw immunity at you.
Yeah, but in those days a weak ruler meant a more evil ruler would take over thru violence or lack of support for the current ruler...
It's still true, but it was in those days too
I have no clue what that has to do with my modified Montey Python quote.
And a weak ruler is one without a mandate of the masses.
Historically speaking, they don't hang on to power long.
