I thought it more about the pettiness of the expenses. I mean, someone whose truck needs repairs isn't 'less' than other people, but many people who have their piece of junk in currently-working-condition regard themselves as currently far wealthier than they actually are simply because of the alleviation of that recurring expense.
Felt like going for white trash with that particular combo
Drinking Miller to feel rich because it's the "Champaign of beers."
