If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

He's not a sympathetic character and he appears to have something bordering on a messiah complex. At the same time I think the vindictive use of the courts and the expense spent on pursuing him have been bad form by the USA/UK.
The actual "hacking" charge they are trying to stick on him is extremely tenuous and sets a bad precedent. Most recently Biden has been considering a request from Australia to allow him to be released to them.
