So when my original PSU died 2 years ago, and I went to the store where I bought the G29 and they gave me the 29.4v 2A PSU... Could it do something wrong to it? Is it too much? I dont know... The wheel sometimes disconnects when I turn it as fast as I can and the base gets hot after a few hours of playing...

Hey everyone. I hope you might be able to help me with this. So I recently made some upgrades to my build -- new CPU, GPU and Monitor. These are my specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (16 cores / 32 threads)
  • GPU: ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4070 Ti Super OC (16GB GDDR6X)
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3600
  • Monitor: Gigabyte M27Q X – 2560×1440 @ 170Hz, G-SYNC Compatible, DP connected

I ran a benchmark on 3DMark and everything worked fine. GPU can use 280W, smooth 120fps and more in the benchmarks. Now, I am trying to play DOOM: TDA, but I barely get above 50FPS, no matter what Settings. Using the overlay, I can see that my GPU only pulls 165W and runs at no more than 55% load. My CPU is also not maxed out. I tried a lot, updated my Motherboard BIOS and other solutions. I also ran Doom Eternal, Raytracing and Ultra Nightmare settings and the same result. Wattage not fully used.

Is there anything else I can do? It is pretty frustrating as I thought I had build a pretty powerful Rig and now I am sorta disappointed.

Hey! I got my first PC recently and was looking for help/advice on buying different parts of my setup! I'm not looking for super expensive or high-end stuff, just stuff that gives me bang for my buck. (Good response time, frame rate, etc.). My monitor, mouse, and headset are probably highest priority at the moment, as they're the parts of my current setup that give the most trouble. Just looking for some advice when I'm shopping just mention any brands or particular products that I should look for or avoid

My current budget is around $400, but there is some wiggle room there.

I'm looking for:

  • Monitor (or two if possible)
  • Mouse
  • Keyboard
  • Headset
  • Mousepad

Hey all, I am looking to upgrade my PC from a RTX2070. I currently connect my KVM through an Anker 778 with no problems. However looking at the 5070 there's doesn't appear to be a USB-C port. Is there any way to connect the same way as my 2070? For reference I have 2x 34' monitors, that I swap between connecting to my desktop and my work laptop, so want an easy way to switch. Thanks!

Does anyone know a fix for my cpu for some reason whenever it goes into it turbo clock it current throttles and then it lowers my voltage and in turn drops my clock speeds causing stutters and frame drops in games.

Also a side note if I wanted to upgrade my gpu now from a 3070ti what should I go with?

Thank you to anyone who can help me.

I built a PC using parts from Newegg for a total of $674.65 (shipping included) and tried to flip it on Facebook for $775, but no one on my local area wanted it, so now I guess I'll just use and keep it.

It has a Ryzen 5 8600G running the Radeon 760M iGPU, along with 32GB of DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM, a 1TB PCIe 4x4 SSD, 650W PSU, and B650 mobo inside a microATX case. Can play in 1080p/60 fps at medium/high settings depending on the game, and can do 90-120fps at the lowest settings (games are BO6, Doom Dark Ages, Fortnite, Cyberpunk).

I wanna pair it with either an Intel B580 for $337 (with shipping) from Newegg, or wait for the AMD RX 9060 XT to come out for $350 and get it from Best Buy or Amazon with free shipping, when I get paid this Friday.

Of course, I have heard that those 8000G CPUs have half the L3 cache of a normal 7000/9000 Ryzen CPU, but how much performance would O really be losing here? Would it really be worth spending an extra $315 on a used Ryzen 5 7600X3D I found (since new ones are exclusive to Micro Center, who does not ship and is not located in Hawaii), or will just sliding in one of those aforementioned GPUs with my 8600G be enough for 1080p/200fps (or a 1440p upgrade)?

I recently purchased the Corsair 3500x case along with 2 RS120 A-RGB fans. Right below where the pre installed fans are, there is a compartment to mount either a 120mm or a 140mm fan. The screws that came with the RS120 do not fit in those holes. Could someone send me a link to where I could purchase the correct screws? I can't seem to find where they are sold.

There is only the ability to set a default monitor that apps open on. I want the app to open on the monitor I launch it from!

So if I launch an app from the Taskbar on display 2, it opens on display 2, same for display 1. I don't want apps to open on a default display.

I can't afford displayfusion, are there any free tools that will let me have this function? It's crazy that Windows 11 does not have this option built into taskbar settings.

So, I found myself inside of a Micro-Center - which I don’t live close to, and found this pretty legit deal (In my uneducated opinion) and I’m thinking about pulling the trigger.

I’m a casual FPS gamer that is tired of frame rate lag and low graphics settings. I currently have an Alienware with a 2060 super and it seems to be proprietarily upgrade proof.
