Gotta hate MSI in the year and a half my $2500 dollar laptop no longer turns on this is after sending it to MSI around 5 times costing a ton in shipping. It now no longer boots and now I have a 2500 dollar piece of metal on my desk. Please for the love of god do not but MSI products.

I tried repasting a really old gpu with some corsair xtm70 and the thing would just not spread.

Anyone have any tips? This is usually a pain in the ass for me when im using thick paste.

My GTX 950 just died, so I’m using a 550 Ti right now, which isn’t really ideal (for many reasons), so I’m thinking of upgrading to a 1080 or 1080 Ti. Now I’ve noticed on eBay the prices for the 1080 Ti are about twice as much as the 1080, so with the crazy difference in cost, is it justifiable to get a 1080 Ti, or is the 1080 fine too?

CPU is an i7 7700
