Q. Do I need to watch any other Gundam show to understand Gundam Seed?

A. No. Gundam Seed is set in the standalone ‘Cosmic Era’ timeline, and has no other ties to any other prior piece of Gundam media.

Q. I hear that it has a new movie out, What do I need to watch before that?

A. Seed (48 episodes) and it’s sequel series Seed Destiny (50 episodes). You are now ready for Seed Freedom. Both series are free to watch on the Gundam Info channel.

Q. When is the SEED Freedom Movie releasing internationally

It’s already premiered in a lot of countries already. A limited one day premiere SEED in the USA is at the end of this month but presumably there will be a nation wide rollout In April or May.

Fudou Yukimitsu makes it known that he is proud to be Oda Nobunaga's beloved sword, but clashes with the other swords who also call Nobunaga their former master: Souza Samonji, Heshikiri Hasebe, and Yagen Toushirou. The appointed team captain, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, must rally a citadel that has fallen into disarray at Fudou Yukimitsu's arrival. In the midst of all this, the saniwa has received an order to depart for the year 1582 -- the Honnouji event, where Oda Nobunaga met his demise...

Anime production will be scripted and overseen by Kenichi Suemitsu, the director and playwright of the original play.

The series has a very likable cast and mixes comfy reverse isekai moments with fantasy characters gushing over modern Earth food and entertainment and adventuring action episodes in the isekai world.

Marie is voiced by Kaede Hondo (Eiko Tsukimi from Ya Boy Kongming!, Sakura Minamoto from Zombie Land Saga, Hikari Takanashi from Interviews with Monster Girls and Best Barkeep from Hinamatsuri)
